Getting out of the comfort zone and pencil skirts
Alohaaaa! Today I'm presenting you a complete outfit by Valentine Gauthier, a French brand, that I got to know a few months ago. In the outfit, I'm definitely loving the dark navy blue color of the jacket: awesome during winter because of the warm look you get in your outfit. Also I thought it would overcome a bit more my struggle of what I combined the jacket with:
a 'copper', brown like pencil skirt. That wasn't a instant choice I would usually make because of the tight fit. Although I really like pencil skirts on others, I find it hard to buy myself one because of that tight fit, which emphasizes my upper legs and backside. You might or might not recognize this issue :)
I'm sure that that's something I have to ban from my mind, so here you go. I got out of the comfort zone and put on that pencil skirt. As I didn't want to feel majorly uncomfortable, I decided to go step by step and combine the skirt with the dark blue jacket, which still covers a part of my backside :) Finishing the outfit with my new Zara shoes and I totally love them, especially because I'm a huge fan of platform shoes!
I'm really curious for what you think of this look and how you guys look upon pencil skirt. Feel free to comment below ;)
