Hi guys! How are you? It has been a while as I had a full month of examinations and my trip to Paris last week (more about that soon up here). So focus for January was school, yay, or not. About the location. We shot this outfit at the rooftop of the MHKA in Antwerp, where you can find the Skyspace artwork, which is "a cube-shaped space with a single door opening and a square hole in the ceiling". Definitely worth paying a visit when in the neighborhood.

In this blogpost, I’m sharing with you my new cotton trousers. I'm totally feeling the oversized pants trend actually. Are you? Not as I expected, this 'pink-ish' color is super easy to combine other colors with. I’ve tried this tartan shirt with it, but also a jeans shirt and of course you can keep it simple and match it with a white shirt. In this outfit I got the white touch through my sneakers. The tartan shirt that I’m wearing is the only piece I managed to find during sales. Two reasons. One, I’m reaaally not a fan of sale periods because everyone is agitated to find their perfect sales piece and the shops are overcrowded. Two, as I mentioned I just did not have the time (exams) to get out of my room and go for a quick look for some nice pieces. I did once get out of my room to get food and found this shirt (mission accomplished right?). To be honest, it’s just an easy to wear piece and everyone should own a tartan shirt I guess.

The final touch to this look is my new pair of glasses by polette. The concept behind polette is clear: “it lies on a simple yet groundbreaking idea: being the only intermediate between the factory and the customer.” Their frames and lenses are provided straight from their workshops, therefore there is no stock nor intermediates to high margins. The brand has a huge variety of designs so you’re able to find your perfect match in style. The website is a journey through the highlights of the Eyewear, with retro and vintage designs, from classic to eccentric. I found it pretty easy to find this fit and adjust the measurements to my personal requests. So what I like about this brand is that is easy to order and find a pair of glasses that fit your style and next to that you are able to buy a few styles as they’re super cheap. So that’s that. I’m off to write another blogpost, namely the one about my favorite places in Paris, which will be online soon. Talk to you soon!
